National Geographic-Lindblad Expeditions Grosvenor Teacher Fellowship to Greenland

Follow along with me this summer on my expedition to Southeast Greenland aboard the National Geographic Resolution! As a National Geographic-Lindblad Teacher Fellow, I will be exploring the remote fjords of Southeast Greenland via a fully equipped, state of the art, Level 5 ice-class Polar expedition ship, as well on zodiac boats and by foot. My goal in participating in this expedition is to share the wonder of exploration with you (my students), as well as to explore first-hand the significance of the Greenland Icecap, in terms of its geopolitical significance, environmental history, and global citizenship. Check out the itinerary here!

To read more about the Grosvenor Teacher Fellowship and the places other teachers will be traveling, here is a link to this year’s press release.

I will be providing updates of the trip through the blog on this site, but if you have any specific questions you have, please send a message here, email me, or contact me via our Summer Google Classroom.
